There is a reason why the Hang Nga Guesthouse is better known as Vietnam’s “Crazy House”. Can you guess what it is?

This extraordinary building resembles a large, spooky tree, its rooms and corridors take unexpected twists and turns and it’s not unusual to come across a giant spider web hanging from the ceiling.

The on-site art gallery lets you know what the designer, Hang Nga’s, intentions were.  And the constant flow of tourists shows that this guesthouse isn’t just somewhere to stay, but somewhere to experience.
