Day two of the Weird & Wonderful Hotels shoot, and our production team are visiting Utter Inn.
It’s all hands below deck at this destination, where your accommodation lies beneath the water of Sweden’s Lake Mälaren. We’re hoping everyone remembered to pack their waterproofs!

Become The Man From Atlantis in Jules Undersea Lodge!
Situated beneath the waves of Key Largo, this is the first ever chance to stay in an authentic underwater research habitat.
The lodge is accessed from a 21 feet scuba dive, after which, qualified divers have unlimited time beneath the sea!
Once inside, you’ll find all the home comforts you need – shower, galley, and enough room for a party of six. If, on the other hand, you’ve got romance on your mind, it’s everything from a cosy hideaway to a wedding venue!
So, hold your breath and jump right in!

Just below the surface of Sweden’s Lake Mälaren, there is something waiting for you! It’s not a scary mutant fish, though. In fact, it’s a one-room underwater hotel.
Another creation from Swedish artist, Mikael Genberg, the Utter Inn literally gives guests an opportunity to sleep with the fishes.
After arriving in the Swedish port of Västerås, guests are taken across the lake and given the use of an inflatable boat. From there, they are on their own (unless they opt for the deluxe package, in which case their dinner will arrive on another boat later).
From the top of the hotel, guests are free to swim, sunbathe or make their way over to the lake’s uninhabited island before retiring to their own, personal bedroom/aquarium. This one-off hotel really gives its guests the perfect blend of excitement and relaxation.
