Our crew have arrived in Switzerland, the land of chocolate, watches and… er… army knives. Here they will stay in the Null Stern (or Zero Star) Hotel.
This hotel offers no swimming pool, no bar, no room service, no television and no en-suite bathroom. Enjoy your stay guys!

Not many hotel names sum up what they’re all about better than Switzerland’s Null Stern Hotel. Literally meaning “Zero Star”, this concept hotel offers guests the chance to spend a night with just the bare essentials – at massively discounted rates, of course!
Originally an art exhibition created by Swiss twin brothers, Frank and Patrik Riklin, the idea has grown into a fully operational hotel located just outside the city of St. Gallen.
Situated in a former nuclear bunker, the brothers transformed the museum into this unforgettable hotel. It simply offers you a bed, shower, bathroom facilities, and a hot water bottle to keep you warm – well, what else do you need?
The first fully fledged Zero Star Hotel opens on Friday, June 5, 2009 in the town of Teufen. Watch this space for more details.
