Prepare to be blown away by Poland’s art hotel, Blow Up Hall 5050!  

Blow Up Hall is situated in Poznań, one of Poland’s oldest cities, yet is one of the most avant-garde experiments in interactive art ever attempted.  Developed from the project of award-winning artist, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Blow Up Hall takes its name from Michelangelo Antonioni’s cult 60’s movie. ‘Blow Up’.

At Blow Up Hall, you don’t select your room, you pick a card and the appropriate room will be yours!  So, depending on your spirit animal you could get back to nature in a zebra-striped suite, empty your mind in a sterile white room, or retain a modicum of normality in a more traditional space!

Door keys don’t exist here – you are given an iPhone with the technology to open your door, turn on a TV screen and order your “breakfast experience”!

And by the way, you’re filmed during your stay… even after lights out!  The footage is chopped up and shown in the main lobby but, don’t worry, your modesty is preserved at all times!

This really is a one-off!  So, dispense with convention and become a work of art!
