Post Production Is Go!

While our exhausted film crew get some much needed R&R, the production baton is passed to our team of skilled editors who are starting to piece together the first 13 episodes of Weird & Wonderful Hotels. With hundreds of hours of globe-trotting footage to get through, there could be a few late nights ahead – someone get this chap a double espresso!

Music To Our Ears

On Friday we headed down to the studio to record the theme tune for Weird & Wonderful Hotels.

Written by Sleepydog’s very own Mark Hilton, the surf-rock inspired track is one you’re sure to be humming long after you’ve watched the show!

A massive thank you to everyone involved for all their fantastic work.

Recharging Their Batteries

With the first leg of their journey into the Weird & Wonderful in the can, our crew are happy to be home resting ahead of their flight out to Madrid.

Back To Nature

The crew have made it to Germany and are poised to discover the Baumhaus Hotel.

So, in a reversal of evolution, it’s back in the trees for you guys! Quirky sure is the order of the day in this very weird – but very wonderful – hotel!

Blow Your Mind

The crew are currently filming at Blow Up Hall 5050, what has been described as “the strangest place in Poland”! And, whoever said that, really wasn’t exaggerating!

What the guys are about to experience here is an art-hotel where the rooms choose the guests… weird!

Under Lock And Key

Breaking news! The Weird & Wonderful crew are behind bars!

But don’t worry, they’re just visiting Hostel Celica, a converted prison in Slovenia. The production team have had a long drive from Switzerland but hopefully the art-themed hostel was worth the wait.

Extreme Camping

The crew are in Slovenia’s breathtaking Triglav National Park, exploring Eco Camp Canyon.

They’re all geared up for a real back-to-nature adventure – knapsacks and all!
